Cambodia Foreign Ministry: “The electoral body does not have any preferential treatment for any one political party”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has rejected comments that are misleading and made for political reasons by a small number of critics regarding the process of registering political parties in Cambodia.
The Ministry issued its statement after the National Election Committee’s (NEC) decision to reject the registration of the main opposition Candlelight Party (CP) to take part in the July 23 National Election.
