LONDON, UK – The Fukushima Prefectural Government and the Embassy of Japan in the UK held a Fukushima Sake Seminar and Tasting at the Embassy of Japan, Wednesday October 18, 2017

   This was to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Fukushima sake makers retaining their award as Japan’s No1 Sake Prefecture for five years running at the Annual Japan Sake Awards, despite the Great East Japan Earthquake that hit the region six and a half years ago.

   Six sake makers: Daishichi, Ninki, Okunomatsu, Homare,Yamatogawa and Suehiro showcased  spectacular selections of their signature and award winning sake.
