Ms Khon Srey Khouch, the representative of Cambodia at Miss Global 2025, has caught the attention of Cambodians, with a distinctive getup in honour of the “Lok Ta Dambang Kranhong” statue in Battambang.

The legend of Ta Dambong states that he was a cook who turned into a strong, big and black man after eating a pot of rice blackened by a magic stick.

Ms Khon states that her outfit was made with the aim of showing the symbol of Battambang province, the belief in prayer, and the traditions of Cambodia from the beginning to the present day.

The final of Miss Global will be held on March 9, 2025 at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
