Vaisakhi celebration at Trafalgar Square London was held on 22 April 2023.

Co-hosts Tommy Sandhu and Sukh Ojla introduced a fantastic programme of entertainment including performances from Manika Kaur, Amrit Kaur and Dal Singh known as The ‘TablaJedi’. 

Baba Fateh Singh Gatka Akhara performed a Sikh Martial Art named Gatka, an intense artform.They were accompanied by the Dhol Academy, one of the longest-running Dhol establishments in the UK, who provide the soundtrack to the demonstrations, utilising different rhythms to enhance the atmosphere and build up the intensity. 

Attendees also had free light bites and Indian tea (langar)
