Tuoi Tre newspaper holds crowdfunding campaign for COVID-19 vaccination in Vietnam

Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper has launched a fundraising program for the purchase of COVID-19 vaccines in order to inoculate all Vietnamese citizens.
Named ‘Cung Tuoi Tre Gop Vaccine COVID-19’ (Making COVID-19 Vaccine Contributions with Tuoi Tre), the program aims to help Vietnam acquire a sufficient number of COVID-19 vaccine doses for the entire population.
After more than a year of fighting COVID-19, Vietnam has entered a new stage of pandemic prevention and control, according to Le The Chu, Tuoi Tre’s editor-in-chief.
COVID-19 vaccination has become urgent and necessary in order to effectively contain the pandemic and enable people to return to their normal life.
As the Vietnamese government has set a long-term goal of providing free COVID-19 vaccination for all citizens, Tuoi Tre wishes to contribute to this effort by launching this initiative.
“We look forward to receiving donations from readers, institutions, businesses, and organizations via this meaningful campaign,” Chu stated.
To join the program, people can donate directly at Tuoi Tre newspaper’s headquarters at 60A Hoang Van Thu Street in Ward 9, Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City (Hotline: 0283.9973838) or representative offices in other provinces and cities.
Benefactors can also transfer their donations to Tuoi Tre’s account number 113000006100 at VietinBank, Branch 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
