Peacock Generation Thangyat Team member Suu Yadana Myint who was serving a prison sentence after being prosecuted by Tatmadaw (Defence Services) has been released from Insein prison after serving her sentence.

She got 6 months commuted by the President’s pardon issued in April this year besides regular remission.

A major-rank military officer prosecuted Peacock generation Thangyat team for allegedly undermining the administrative machinery in Tatmadaw (Defence Services) under section 505(b) of Penal Code (public mischief) and under section 66(d) of Telecommunication Law at Botataung Township court and in another separate case under section 66(d) of Telecommunication Law at Mayangon Township court.
