Singapore donates COVID-19 detection machines to Myanmar

YANGON, Myanmar – The Singapore Government on Wednesday donated 3,000 diagnostic tests and two polymerase chain reaction (PCR) machines for the detection of COVID-19 in response to a request from the Myanmar Ministry of Health and Sports. Vanessa Chan, Singapore’s ambassador to Myanmar, handed over the equipment to the director of the Myanmar National Health Laboratory, Dr. Htay Htay, at Yangon International Airport.
