The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia London held  the inaugural Indonesian Organic Food Day on Friday 7th December at the Marriott Hotel County Hall.     

Hosted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Kingdom, Ireland and International Maritime Organization, H.E. Dr Rizal Sukma, the event showcased Indonesian organic food and develop international engagement between Indonesian food suppliers and the UK based food industry.

    
The Organic food industry in Indonesia is growing and producers are looking to supply international markets with their tropical organic food products grown on the fertile archipelago.

Among industry experts was Helianti Hilman – Founder & CEO, JAVARA (Forbe’s Magazine Indonesia’s 20 Global Rising Stars), Vita Dikariyanto – Doctoral Research in Food Technology and Nutrition, Kings College London and Budiono Bin Sukim – Executive Sous Chef, Marriott County Hall London
