PeaceNiche – a cutting edge Karachi-based organisation promoting democratic disclosure and conflict resolution – presents an audio visual showcase of Pakistani street culture, cult cinema, visual memory and matters of the heart. The Second Floor (T2F) in Karachi is the first project of PeaceNiche
A community space for open dialogue, T2F provides citizens with a platform for social change through rich cultural activities, public discourse, and advocacy using progressive ideas and the new media.
Dil Phaink at Alchemy at Southbank Centre is dedicated to the memory of Sabeen Mahmud, the free speech activist from Pakistan, who was shot dead in Karachi on 24 April 2015.
Sabeen established a not-for-profit organisation “to promote democratic discourse and conflict resolution through intellectual and cultural engagement,” called The Second Floor (T2F).
